Vivienne Westwood A/W 1981-1982~~Pirate

The themes of this colloection is Pirate
AUTUMN/WINTER 1981-1982

With Pirate, Westwood began an exploration of historical cut and tailoring that would inform her life’s work. The loose-cut trousers and romantic, billowing shirts, with their vermicular curve print, were based faithfully on 18th-century men’s clothing.
This mix created a collection that burst onto the London fashion show in the colors (gold, orange and yellow). So, it used the complementary colors scheme (eg.reds and greens in the first picture) (eg. Pale indigo Blues and yellow in second picture). which is made a opposite colors & achromatic colors scheme (eg.Blank and Whites also used in two picture) which show her collection. She change the values of red and green which colors are opposite on the wheel. It makes the collection more harmony and coherence.
However she also adds the accent colors on it which are khaki and brown. Those colors are not the main colors of this collection , but khaki and brown also have a large proportion in the Vivienne Westwood A/W 1981-1982~~Pirate collection.
